PRINTMAKING
I studied printmaking at Hastings College with professor Turner McGehee. After graduation, my Mom and Dad bought me a small etching press as a Christmas gift. I've been making prints ever since. My prints contain allegorical images that connect with multiple truths, mythology, and associations. The sketchbooks I use to create my prints contain bits of notes and fragmented drawings, which remind me of the tesserae I use to create mosaic art. The simple truth of it is: I like black ink and the stuff I can make with it.
